Keturah is a freelance photographer based in Adelaide, South Australia & shooting extensively across Australia for companies & publications such as The Weekend Australian Magazine.
She was born in New South Wales, later moving with her family to Adelaide where she completed school and university. She studied photography at the North Adelaide School of Art before heading to England.
Returning to Australia in 2003, Keturah undertook further studies at the Creative Centre for Photography and worked as a freelance photographer for organisations including various state and national newspapers and magazines.
In 2007 she was a semi-finalist in the international Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.
In 2010 Keturah had a photographic book published with Morné, by Art Publishers in South Africa and an exhibition in Adelaide, on grass-roots soccer in South Africa, in time for the World Cup. See 'Features' for details and pictures.
In 2010 she also won a place in Business SA's SAYES, South Australia's Young Entrepreneur Scheme from which she graduated in 2011.
In 2011 she was exhibited in Sydney as a finalist in the prestigious Head On Portrait Prize
2012 saw her receive a Bronze Award in the International Loupe Awards and Honourable Mention for a set of three photographs in the International Photography Awards (IPA).
She continues to work as a feelance photographer in a editorial/photojournalist capacity, being commissioned by national clients as well as having her own features published in national magazines.
